The ZNFU has information that some areas have already started receiving their inputs for the 2008/2009 farming season. This appears to be a good sign that all may go well this season for the farmer.
But the bigger worry the ZNFU has is that some remote parts of the country are still impassable, and God knows how farmers will access their inputs in such places.....
The ZNFU believes it is not a bad idea to have the road maintenance exercise done before the crop marketing season so that by the time the input exercise is underway, the road infrastructure will have been made passable even by a smallest van.....
