Fertilizer Input Support Programme (FISP) allocations to most CACs in Chavuma District have been reduced this year prompting the CACs to agree on getting half a pack per farmer. This has resulted in many farmers expressing interest to participate on the Zambia National Farmers Union Lima Credit Scheme. Meanwhile, Chavuma District has started receiving FISP Inputs in slowly and farmers have been allowed to collect seed without fertilizer.
