The Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) has congratulated Dr Solomon Jere on his promotion to Deputy Inspector General (IG) of Police by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zambia Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata. The ZNFU says this is a well deserved promotion going by Dr Jere’s hard work, dedication and professionalism exhibited in the execution of his duties.The Union says it has enjoyed Dr Jere’s support when he served as Director of Operations as well as when he was Police Commissioner for Central Province. The ZNFU says it is confident that Dr Jere will ably execute his duties as has always done and provide the Police Service with the much needed quality leadership and strategic focus.  The ZNFU says it trust that Dr Jere will ably continue rendering service and leadership to the Police Service, the farming community and the general public as a whole.
