The ZNFU President will be in Mkushi District on Monday 19th July, 2010 with his entourage. The purpose of his visit is to come and hold meetings with commercial farmers in the farm block and assess the security situation in Mkushi District as a whole.
In his entourage, there will be the Zambia Police Service high command from Service Head quarters in Lusaka. This will be an opportune time for commercial farmers to bring out all security issues that have affected the farm block in the recent past. Information has been sent to farmers in the farm block through the Mkushi District Farmers’ Association Chairman Mr. Andrew Moffat and the ZNFU regional office in Mkushi. Farmers are urged to come in large numbers so that the challenges they are facing regarding Security can be voiced to the Police High Command.
