IFC Vice President Visits Zambia

The Vice President of International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank, visited Zambia to accustom herself with the different developmental projects IFC is currently assisting implement in Zambia. During her visit to Zambia, the IFC Vice President held a working lunch on agribusiness development initiatives with key stakeholders that included the ZNFU, MACO, ZANACO and PROFIT;

among others. The IFC Vice President also visited the Palabana Dairy Cooperative Society, where she interacted with some dairy farmers under the ZNFU-ZANACO-IFC Emergent Farmer Finance Programme (ZEF). The IFC Vice President was happy with the progress and impact ZEF is having on Emergent farmers like Mrs. Zulu of Palabana, who was able to demonstrate how ZEF has helped her improve her dairy management and production capacity.
